Foot Care Service

Foot problems are common in people with Diabetes and other chronic conditions and can lead to serious complications. The Two Rivers Family Health Team Foot Clinic aims to provide patient education and individualized foot care services.

Taking good care of your feet can improve your life and the lives of those around you!

The Foot Clinic will provide service to Two Rivers Family Health Team patients who are at risk of developing foot problems (ex. those with Diabetes, Arthritis Neuropathy and/or Peripheral Arterial Disease).

The Foot Care Nurse will ask questions related to your health, perform a lower extremity assessment, and discuss your treatment plan with you.

This may include a referral to a specialist or community foot care services for ongoing support and maintenance, such as nail trimming, if required.

If appropriate, your Family Doctor or Nurse Practitioner will refer you to the Foot Care Service.
