Dr. Hankinson Retirement Letter

Dear Patients,

It has been a privilege and an honour to provide medical care to you over the past 35 years. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of so many important life events for you and your families.  I am writing you to let you know that I will be retiring  from medical practice effective May 31, 2024.

I feel very fortunate in finding physicians to take over my practice this year so that you (and all of my patients) will have the option for continued in person care at Hespeler Medical Clinic and will not need to search for a replacement primary care provider.  You will be notified of your new family physician in the near future.  Patients that have relocated outside our region and are unable to attend in person appointments will need to seek care in their locale.

Your medical records will automatically remain at Hespeler Medical Clinic with the physicians taking over your care unless you provide written authorization to transfer your records to another primary care provider of your choice.  Otherwise updated roster forms will be provided for you and your family to complete once the transfer of care has taken place.

I will miss my patients, colleagues and team members at Hespeler Medical Clinic and the Two Rivers Family Health Team dearly.
